Students make real decisions on the strength of what we publish — which subjects to take, which concours to sit, which deadline to chase. This page sets out how we try to earn that.
Where our information comes from
We prefer primary sources in this order: the examining board or ministry itself, then the institution concerned, then reporting that cites one of those. Where a figure comes from somewhere else, we say so and link to it.
Verification
- Every scholarship deadline is checked against the awarding body before publication
- Cut-off marks are attributed to a specific admission cycle, never presented as permanent
- Timetables are matched against the official published schedule
- Where a detail cannot be confirmed, we say it is unconfirmed rather than guessing
Authorship
Every article carries a named author with a real profile. We do not publish anonymously, and we do not invent bylines.
Updates and corrections
Exam information ages badly. Articles that depend on a cycle — timetables, cut-offs, deadlines — are reviewed each season and carry the date they were last checked.
When we get something wrong, we correct the article and note what changed. We do not quietly edit an error away. If you have found a mistake, please tell us.
Advertising and independence
This site carries advertising, which pays for the work. Advertisers have no input into what we cover or what we conclude. Where we mention the eStudyUniverse app, it is our own product and we say so plainly.
Use of AI
We may use AI tools to help with research, structure and editing. A named human author is responsible for every published article, checks every factual claim in it, and stands behind it.
